Happy Winter Solstice!!

Wishing everyone a happy Winter Solstice!
The light will begin to return, slowly but surely. Yet at the same time winter has begun!
Still a time to turn inward, but with the return of light you can bring more light in the dark of this phase of the year and of our lives.
But even though it's too early for action and turning outwards, I do react strongly to more light so I do begin feel the desire for flowering!
Maybe that's why January through March can still be very cold? We may go out but the cold will have us turn back indoors to get warm again. Warm the inner body with chocolate milk, warm thick soups, glühwein and so on.

In any case, enjoy this day, the turning of the Wheel of the Year.
And miraculously over here the sun is shining today, blue skies, and bright light!
